Naw, I can't envy the past too crazily,
Regardless of what happened then, it made me “ME”,
I have to thank Mom, she raised me and made me read
Dad played songs and sung...now I make CD's!

Clearly I carry on about the past a lot
I need to carry on from what's passed and gone
remember myself to maintain the path I'm on
no future when stuck in “the then” (a paradox):
I'll only treasure today tomorrow when treasure “the now”
But when remembering yesterday I'll neglect the day..how
can we be sure of identity when memory fades out?
Visionaries blind with their heads in a great cloud
just the same as the reminiscing when totally spaced out
